We're a team of engineers and makers on a mission to make circuit design, simulation, and IoT development radically more accessible — without compromising on power.
The best engineering tools should be accessible to everyone — from the student building their first LED circuit to the professional designing an industrial IoT node.
We believe great hardware ideas shouldn't die because of complicated tooling, expensive software, or steep learning curves.
Kiwistron was founded by engineers who were frustrated with how fragmented the embedded development ecosystem was. Simulators, IDEs, IoT dashboards — they were all disconnected islands. We set out to change that.
Today, we build two deeply integrated products under the Kiwistron umbrella: KiwisCAD for circuit design & AVR simulation, and KiwisIoT for connected device management. Together, they form a complete embedded engineering platform.
Our core purposes driving the development and future of KiwisCAD.
To democratize embedded electronics engineering by providing a powerful, zero-install circuit design and AVR simulation platform. We strive to make drag-and-drop hardware design, real-time code compilation, and interactive firmware testing accessible to makers, students, and professionals alike, entirely within their browser.
A unified web-based hardware development ecosystem where the barrier between writing firmware and testing physical circuits is completely eliminated, enabling anyone, anywhere, to rapidly prototype, validate, and learn embedded systems without expensive licenses or complex desktop software.
KiwisCAD is part of the Kiwistron family, working alongside our sister brands to build a complete hardware, software, and IoT ecosystem.
Beyond Imagination. Our parent brand driving innovative robotics, automation, and AI solutions for industry and research.

From classroom experiments to production deployments — engineers everywhere rely on the Kiwistron platform.
From a frustration with fragmented tools to a platform used by thousands of engineers.
A group of embedded engineers and students grew tired of juggling Proteus licenses, disconnected IDEs, and no easy way to test Arduino code without physical hardware. Kiwistron was conceptualized as a unified, accessible alternative.
KiwisIoT launched as a cloud IoT platform focused on simplicity. Clean APIs, real-time dashboards, and device management — built for makers who didn't want enterprise complexity. It gained traction quickly among Arduino and ESP32 developers.
We began building KiwisCAD to close the loop — a browser-based circuit designer that could simulate AVR firmware without any installs. With an in-browser ATmega328P engine, we achieved genuine Arduino Uno emulation running entirely in the browser.
KiwisCAD now supports 50+ components, I2C/LCD/DHT simulation, an integrated Monaco code editor, WebSocket compilation, and a growing project gallery. Together with KiwisIoT, Kiwistron offers end-to-end tooling from first circuit to live deployment.
